Wherely draws on traveler experiences, trusted guides, transportation data, local knowledge, and reviewed editorial research. Source categories are shown by default; named sources can be expanded where useful.
Facts versus assessments versus recommendations
Facts describe observable conditions. Assessments interpret patterns and what to keep in mind. Recommendations explain what may fit your trip based on what you shared. These layers stay separate so uncertainty remains visible.
How route intelligence works
Connections between Places—flights, ferries, transfers, and effort—are treated as first-class planning information, not footnotes. Route guidance can be useful even when stay-area depth is still expanding.
How AI is used
AI may help draft, organize, and personalize explanations. Human review and editorial standards govern what is published. Wherely is not positioned as an “AI-powered” itinerary generator.
Evidence, freshness, and review
Important claims carry evidence readiness. Last reviewed dates appear inside Information used. Time-sensitive content may receive stronger freshness treatment; most pages do not need alarm styling.
Coverage levels
Detailed guidance, connected-trip guidance, and basic orientation describe how much guidance is available—not a promise that every Place is equally deep. See Where we cover for where guidance is strongest today.

Corrections
Anyone can report inaccurate or missing information without an account. Factual corrections and recommendation-fit feedback are separate flows so product learning stays clear.
Limitations
Wherely does not guarantee live availability, prices, or operational conditions. Confirm time-sensitive details with providers. Insufficient-guidance states are shown when a responsible recommendation is not possible.
