What to keep in mind: moving between major beach belts on Phuket is usually a ride or self-drive decision, not a casual walk. Why it may fit: if you want low daily transit burden, cluster nights and day trips around one belt rather than treating opposite coasts as one continuous neighborhood.
What to keep in mind: Krabi and Koh Lanta work as separate Andaman stops rather than extensions of a Phuket beach base. If they matter to the trip, plan them as their own segments instead of relying on repeated out-and-back days from Phuket.
