Getting there & around
Getting there
The train to Cha-am Station — roughly 2 kilometres inland from the central beach — is the most straightforward, town-centre-adjacent public-transport option, versus a coach, minivan, or the Phet Kasem Road bus along the Phetkasem Road corridor from Bangkok, which runs less often — confirm current departure times before relying on it.
Getting around
A shared songthaew along the main beach road covers fixed, low-budget hops, versus a rented scooter or motorbike for exploring further afield.
